"Khashmak" AR SoundBYTE

Khashmak - the famous “Nose Kiss” or 'Give me your nose”, is like a western handshake using other means, a greeting to show respect. In Amrita’s signature style she recorded the word “Khashmak” and captured the structure of the sound wave. She has then painted images that represent the meaning of the word to create Voice note Art(c). Local dialect and slang in every culture is a great way to get an understanding and appreciation of the culture. It will connect with the local nationals and residents of the UAE but also help educate the visitors in a fun and colourful way.
